Education

Kyra Contreras, MSW, LSW, CPhT, received her BSW, from Indiana Wesleyan University. She continued her learning trajectory at Walden University (MSW). Graduating with honors, and a double-major in Psychology and Family Counseling. Kyra is licensed in the State of Indiana. She has been a practicing counselor since 2018.

Hobbies

Reading and journaling are a few of Kyra favorite past times. She also enjoys traveling with family and friends, and volunteering. This includes rehoming dogs and cats to a loveable home.

Many of the internship training required me to think developmentally. This means that instead of searching out pathology, I look for missing skills and patterns of behavior that have developed over time that are problematic. I am practical and efficient. I want you to feel better quickly and to function as well as possible while we do our work.
